Oh, and here are two dances, comparing the old and the new versions.  Yes, the dresses weren't as long as I remember as a kid, but the concept is still there.  I will give the new version this: their sets are awesome, bad guys are way cooler and they upped the anti on the sound effects.

No podcast due to no knitting and family matters

Okay life is just crazy here and my knitting time is limited. If I had the time to podcast I don't have any knitting to show so you would be listening to me talk about nothing. Life will slow down and get less crazy..... I hope please cross your fingers. Right now I am caught up on tasks in the house I wanted to get done all year long. Happy dance. Sadly I don't have many stitches knit. Sorry for the lack of podcast but I promise to make it up to you next Monday. Maybe I should podcast on Sunday and up load on Monday. Things to think about. Till next Monday

Slacking Off

Hello again all, it seems we haven't talked for a while, either in a podcast or in the old fashioned blog posts. This last week for both me and Kathryn has been absolutely crazy. I cannot remember the last time that I plurked, or even emailed someone. Terrible I know. But I have not forgotten our faithful readers, and to be honest, I have kinda missed sitting down and tapping a few thoughts into a blog post.

To start with, since the last podcast, I have helped clean and pack a dorm room, with about two times the stuff in mine. I have been dragged all around Kathryn's school for about 10 days, which was actually enjoyable. I went to bed after midnight every night for the past 10 days, which for me is a record. A good amount of knitting has gotten done of which I shall show in the next episode.

But I would have to say one of the main reasons why I/Kathryn haven't podcasted, is that Kathryn graduated last weekend. So I have been to receptions and ceremonies, on top of the packing and cleaning. We fell into bed every night for the last 3-5 days totally exhausted from all of the stuff we had to do, so if we remembered to podcast, I promise they would not have been pretty. Mum flew up to Buffalo on Friday and joined us, and we all stayed with her at a friend's house on Saturday after graduation, which was chaos in itself. We hadn't seen them in a good few years, and all  kids and Mrs. Smith were vying for every free moment of ours. It was a lot of fun, and a nice break, but very tiring.

So, since we are all home, after a very very long day of travel (of which we will expand upon in the next podcast) there will be some changes to the podcast. These I assure you will be temporary, until the end of the summer, and we are all on our way back to our respective campuses. We will post one podcast a week, on Wednesdays, instead of 3 per week. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Episode 46 Monday again really

Mondays are really sneaking up on me. So go one post below and find out who we nominated for an award.  Go see yep I mean you.

Liebster Award

This weekend, the coolest thing happened to us! A good friend and fellow blogger of ours, Kristen at the Crafty Quilter's Closet has nominated us for the Liebster award. I had no idea this even existed till Kristen stopped by and told us, so here it is...

The Liebster award is given to blogs with less than 200 followers, and gives you the chance to thank the person that awarded it to you, and pay it forward to 5 other deserving and wonderful bloggers out there.

I have to say, it was had to decide on only 5 deserving people, especially since we have so many bloggin friends out there, but here is who we picked...

1). Suezee, of Suezee Knits.

2). Sadie of Yarnivore

3). Kimberly of Sockbunny Knit and Fit

4). Vicki of Dragonfly Soars

5). Cathrine of Noteable Needlework

So, to our 5 nominees, here is your homework. We did ours, now its your turn...

1. Thank your award presenter on your blog and link back to him/her
2. Copy and paste the award to your blog
3. Present the Liebster Award to 5 blogs that you think deserve to be recognized.
4. Let them know by leaving a comment on their blog.
5. Have faith that your followers will spread the love too!

Congratulations to all of the nominees, and Kristen again for her nominations. And as I type, Mum is recording today's episode, so stay tuned!

Episode 45: Self Handicapping

Show Notes:
WIP's: Réallon- past most of the shaping, and is coming along nicely due to a weekend of destressing. It had to get put down because of what happened to my finger. I drew blood and put a hole in it, which is just now almost healed.

Moonlight sonata- not much love aside from a row or two.

Newest project-For once I acted on an impulse and casted this on, it is the Sewanee, in 5th avenue's Toe-rriffic sock yarn in the vineyard colorway. I need a project that wouldn't make my finger too much worse, so this was it, and I needed a straight knitting project anyway, so everyone wins it seems.

FO's- I forgot about the Tolliver baby sweater, so I will post a picture below. It was gifted to my professor last Monday, since the end of the semester was going to be nuts and I wouldn't have had a good time to give it to her. She loved, and so did every ounce of estrogen in the vicinity.
A big thank you to Debknits2 for joining the ravlery group, and an even bigger thanks to both of my KAL buddies from last month, Debcquilts and Elizstitches, for bringing our KAL to victory! You will have to tune in to see who won the pattern! And get your sock yarn ready, my KAL for next month will be sock related!

Have a great weekend everyone, and when we meet again (or when  you see me again) I will be in Buffalo, driving my co-host Kathryn bonkers!

Episode 45-Last week of classes=I'm brain dead

Gaia Sweater: I think this one might be in hibernation until summer since I cannot seem to find the time to work on it.
Beaded Shawl: Coming along nicely!
Have a great week, Happy Knitting!

So, join my KAL, you still have a few days left to get in on the action and on the drawing. And I will boost my lead also, so join join join! You need to be a member of our Ravelry group, and post a picture of your finished project to win, and so we can admire your handiwork before the 1st of May. Thanks!

Episode 40: Method Podcasting

Show Notes:
WIP's- Again, the moonlight sonata, with about a repeat done, not very much again, which will be explained later.
Réallon- sleeves are taken off, and am a few rows away from starting the cable shaping.
And my newest project- A baby sweater for baby Tolliver. My French prof. is pregnant, and doesn't know the gender yet, so I am knitting up a sweater in a tweeded red, I love this Sport Weight by Hobby Lobby. If I have time/yarn I will do a hat and some booties. I will be giving it away on Monday, so you won't see the finished project, except for a picture or two maybe.

Finished Objects- None, absolutely none. Like usual I know.

No real future plans, except for finishing my current projects.  Things are going to get rather stressful, so not much knitting in my near future again.

So, join our KAL, join my KAL, the finish up your finishing, and you could win a pattern, and so could I! Join our ravelry groups to get in on the fun!

Have a great weekend!!

Show Notes:

Moonlight sonata- Still not getting alot of love, got about a half repeat done.

No future plans, and only a preemie hat to put in the Fo's column.

So, join our ravelry group, if you don't join the group, you can't win a pattern. So join the group, then join one of KAL's, and you, and the whoever's KAL you join could win also! So have a great weekend, and Mum will see you on Monday!

And, unfortunately embedding was disabled on the video, but here is the link for the video mentioned in the podcast.

Episode 34: Goin' Tubular

Show Notes:
WIP's-
Moonlight Sonata- Still no designer, at least that I informed you of. With Ravelry still acting up, all I know is that it is from Elann.com. About a repeat done, so not really setting the knitting world aflame.

Réallon- Got the cabled band done, and am now done picking up the stitches and am working on the neck.

Butterfly Monstrosity- Still getting some work done on it, and it is actually looking like something.

No finished projects, sorry. I have yet to start my KAL, but I will have time for finishing the finishing in a weekish, so no big issue.

So, thank you to both Deb, (decquilts) and Janet (janetclaire) for joining our group. Also join my KAL, you could win a pattern, and so could I! So thanks for watching, and bearing with me. Have a great weekend, and Mum will see you on Monday!

P.S- The episode number is wrong on the video, it is actually 34, like the post says. I guess I am a bit more spacy than I though.

Episode 32 I forgot to mention Dawn till Dusk is a knit a long this month

Okay I must have been rushing so I forgot to mention that Dawn till Dusk is my pick for the knit along.  This is Episode 32 not 31 like I had thought.  Oh my sometimes I should just skip a day.  Hope everyone has a great day and a better week.

Friday, March 30, 2012

Episode 31: Sleep, Who Needs It?

Show Notes:

Finished objects- Surprise surprise, nothing finished, unless you consider the search for my new project to be over!

WIP's- Moonlight Sonata- still going, not quickly though, since I really haven't been able to work on it.

My newest project, the Réallon by Marthe Lecapelain. I am doing this one in Dark Denim I Love This Yarn, a pure, unadulterated... Acrylic yarn. Big woop, I know. But it has cables, so it makes it all better.

Butterfly Monstosity- My crosstitch has once again stalled, but not without a great deal of work done on it. It will be picked up soon, just not at the moment.

I am thinking about my April KAL, and it will be up on Ravlery, barring any huge problems (which is likely since my mozilla hates Ravelry now), before the end of March. I think that's it so, have a great weekend if you are watching before the weekend, and Mum will see you on Monday(or you will see her.)!

Episode 30: Growing up is optional, growing up is mandatory, unfortunately

Sorry for the late upload today guys.  I just could not drag myself out of bed today, I have been managing about 3 hours of sleep a night for the past couple of nights and it finally caught up with me I guess.  Plus blip decided that it wanted to upload the episode super slow today.  Well, I guess that could be the dorm internet connection.
Lots of exiting things happened this week, resulting in a very sore me for a few days.
FO's: Picturesque Capelet
WIP's: Small Talk Shawl
Future projects: A Grey Loop, by Helen G. for my KAL for April. Grab your yarn and needles and start it up so I can get a pattern, and you can too! Thanks for watching, Happy Knitting!

This is SkyZone:our staff outing on Saturday that after 2 hours resulted in us being DRENCHED in sweat, but super fun!  Still provided us with the realization that we are not children anymore that can bounce on trampolines for hours on end though :(

Episode 29 Movie maker is harder than it looks

I had forgotten to show you my new wool.  Next Monday I promise to show it to you.  Hey I'm getting the hand of some things and well the others I'm still working on.  Movie maker is not working for me I know it is me. So maybe I have a week to work on working with the program.  Maybe I will have two things for a surprise next Monday.  Okay I will add show notes later I'm off to teach my class.  Have a great day everyone.

Episode 28: Solo Ramblings

Show Notes:

Finished objects- My pair of socks, what yarn and what colorway, I have long forgotten. But they are done, and I must now find a good project for fire drills.

And technically I finished a preemie hat. But that isn't much to celebrate.

WIP's- One and only one knitting project- the Moonlight Sonata shawl, done in the dark purple Alpaca With a Twist fino. I got a good 3 repeats done this week thanks to a stay in the airport and class time.

Most of my time this week has been taken by my butterfly monstrosity. I know I hadn't picked it up in a while and thats why it got almost all the love this week. It is coming along nicely, got a good amount of progress on it, making the landscape actually start to look like a landscape, not just random color blobs.

And thats it for me. Hopefully this goes off without  a hitch, unlike last week! So, have a great weekend, and we will see you again next week (if Mum will decide to podcast that is).

Episode 27: Fire Drills, Fire inspections and Fun

I made a mistake while saving it, contrary to the intro, this is actually Episode 27. Oops.
We had a fire drill at 7 am, and shortly after the fire inspector came by, hence the title. You will have to see for yourself what the fun was (a telephone was involved ;)).
WIP's: My capelet, which while parts of it were blocking stunk up my room because its alpaca. And caused me paranoid grief during the fire alarm.
Finished Objects: The Pavonis!!!!! Wooohooo, its done, and its gorgeous!
Starting soon, perhaps some scarves with the yarn I got in a package from home and the hitchhiker, which Mum and Lindsay have already finished.
See you all next week, thanks for tuning in! Happy Knitting.

Episode 26: Last of the Guest Stars

Show Notes:

Mum:

Finished objects- Citron, the smaller size, which works better as a babushka, as we found out.

WIP's- Gwendolen shawl, in the cappuccino colorway of Cherry Tree hill lace weight yarn.

Lindy:

Finished objects- Hitchhiker- by Martina Behm, which was finished on Tuesday for our March Knit a long.

WIP's- One sock done, and another sock ready for the heel to turn.

My newest project, the Moonlight Sonata, by whom I don't know. It is being knit up in the dark grape colorway of Alpaca with a Twist's fino yarn.

And as for the rest, you shall have to watch and see. If I had remembered the original title for this episode the title would have been different, but it escaped me until it was too late, so the title won't be unconventional headwear, instead it is last of the guest stars. So with that I shall leave you. Have a great weekend and Mum/Knitalittle will see you on Monday. After issues with blip last night, here is the latest episode, a bit late, I know. Later than I though when I wrote this as it turns out.

Wednesday, March 14, 2012

Episode 25: Happy Pi Day! (AKA, I have no title because it was a blah week.)

Its PI day everyone!!!! This week was kinda uneventful, ad instead of that lovely free time being filled with lots of knitting it was unfortunately filled with mounds of homework.
UFO's: Pavie, almost done though! I'm thinking based on my yarn this is going to have to be my last repeat!
I started the Picturesque cape from Jane Austen knits out of Baby Alpaca, for which I shopped for this weekend. Yarn is absolutely gorgeous, watch to take a look for it! Have a great week, be sure to check us out on Itunes and Ravelry :)

Episode 24: Kids, Dogs, and Podcasting

Show Notes to come tomorrow, I am tired, sorry guys.

Friday, March 9, 2012

Episode 23: Dueling Random

Show Notes:

Knitalittle:

WIPs- Tangled yoke cardigan, so close, and yet so far. Story of most cardis that aren't all one piece it seems.

Citron- Coming along nicely, now that is has a home all designated.

Me, Lindy-

WIPS- socks, with the airport, I got the heel starting to turn, and should be done relatively soon, hopefully, then I can do the other.

Pavonis- Almost done too, I have to frog a quarter of a row then bind off since my yarn has started to shrink, drastically.

Hitchhiker, by Martina Behm- Both of us will be doing this since we both want to, and when we get with our other 3rd we will see if it will be a knit a long, maybe not, maybe, we don't know. So of you want to knit it along with us, then berate Kathyrn's ravelry mail or with comments to strong arm her into doing it. The yearn we were going to do it in has changed since we recorded, so we will update you all when we cast Monday's pod.

Well, we hope you all have enjoyed us in our jammies, it did go a bit long, and we hope, not promise it will go a bit more succinctly on Monday, but don't hold your breath. Until then, have a great weekend, and I and Knitalittle will see you again on Monday!!

Episode 22: Knitting > (school) books

Sorry for the delay in uploading, Blip wasn't being nice to me. It kept rejecting the file so I had to convert it to a different format.
Finished Objects: Evelyn's sweater! Now I don't feel guilty working on other projects.
 WIP's: Pavonis....slow but steady!
Future projects: a shawl that I'm blanking on the name right now, and the caplet from Jane Austen Knits for Spring Fling later this month.
Be sure to join our ravelry group and our discussions! Thanks for watching!

Episode 20: Martian Karaoke

Show Notes:

WIP's- Socks, still. A few rows done, but not many. It is officially going in my school bag so it actually gets some love this coming week.

That brings me to good ole Pavvie. We are down a pavonis with Mum winding it back up and leaving the rest of us high and dry, but mine is still going nicely. I only got a glorified few rows done, but it is going on the plane with me on Thursday, so I should get some good pavvie time then. Until then it is now on my desk.

Finished object- For once I have something to put here!! I finished Plucky, on Tuesday morning, which I can say was a really nice feeling. It was starting to enamor itself with me, and I was slightly reluctant to cast off the final sleeve. But it looks really nice on, so I guess it was worth it.

Other than that, nothing much else to report, except some rather unexpected events. So until next week, have a nice weekend, and Mum will see you on Monday.

Episode 19: Small Victories can overshadow hectic nights

I made a mistake in recording! Lindsay podcasts on Friday, not Wednesday. My brain is shot, so don't blame me, blame all the residents that decided to cause trouble last night.
WIP's: The pavonis has been extended into March. Let us see your progress on our Ravelry group. Evelyn's sweater has gotten a good amount of work done on it at the expense of my pavonis. I should have it done by the end of the week though.
Finished objects: My socks :)
Thank you to Enid for following our blog!
Update since recording.  There was another fire drill.  If I had pushed back my recording a half hour you would have witnessed a jump of fright from me in the middle of the podcast!

Friday, February 24, 2012

In relation to Lindsay's post

For those of you who do not know who S club 7 is, here is a link to one of there songs, (Enjoy the 90s fashion and dancing) the one that Lindsay was trying to play through the podcast. So now you can picture Lindsay and I about 10 years younger on the back of a bed jamming out with the bedposts as "microphones" to S club 7 and Celine Dion. Our renditions of Immortality, My heart will go on and Us were gems. I'm sure mum would agree!

Episode 17: No Notes Required!

Show Notes:
I am really hoping this works, since blip is being a pain to work with today. If not give me a shout on Plurk or as a comment, and I will see what I can do.

WIP's-

Plucky- Body is done, and the sleeves are picked up. Not much done on them, even though the body was done early Monday morning.

Socks- They got a good few rows done on them since microwaves are such complicated pieces of machinery and its no big deal to set the alarm off and stick everyone outside at the most inopportune times.

Pavvie- Rows are getting longer, so progress gets slower, making this weeks total a repeat, ish. I know not much.

Butterfly Monstrosity- Not much progress, but it is going nicely.

No finished objects, and not much/anything on the horizon.

That's it for me I think, so have a great weekend, and Mum'll see you on Monday.

Wednesday, February 22, 2012

Episode 16: The busy RAs need a new toaster so we don't set things on fire

WIP's: the other ones from past podcasts that I didn't show because they have had 0 progress made on them :(. My pavonis (or pavie as lindsay as decided to name it) has grown by 2 repeats. I am currently on repeat 6! We may be extending it to March, we'll see.
Completed projects: a fleece snuggle!!!!! We are on itunes,on plurk (i'm katiejo36) and we have a ravelry group, so be sure to check us out there. If you like what you see, boost our ego and comment. If you don't, don't bother. Nope, just kidding, let us know what we can fix! We love comments.

Episode 14: Brain Putty

Show Notes:
Shout outs and Thank You's-
Sadie/BlueRuin- Thank you for both joining our group as well as the Hitchhiker, which will be Mum and I's spring break project. She can be see podcasting here... sadieruin.wordpress.com. She is yarnivore.

Mum/Knitalittle- for all the great birthday goodies, yarn, needles, notions and such.

Lois/Knittingsmybag- Thank you so much for the bag and assorted goodies. I love the stitch markers as well as the lotion.

Bets/elizstitches- Thanks for joining the blog! I know you joined a while ago, but some people forgot to mention you.

Works in Progress-
Lots and lots of work done on Plucky- a good 6ish inches. I now only have 4 ish inches left to go. Woop Woop.

Pavonis- Not much done on pavvie since I have had exams and such, making class knitting rather scarce this week. But I did manage a good repeat. So not too bad.

As promised, pictures of my woe befallen door. I am asking maintenance what I can do about this because I don't want to loose my deposit for their stupidity.

So with that I shall leave you guys, long post this time, sorry 'bout that. If you are missing me in the middle of the week, I am on Plurk as Lindy, and Rav as knittingdoink, so drop me a line if you want, I love hearing from you guys. Thanks and have a wonderful weekend. I don't have class on Sat. so I will be!!

Episode 13-Happy Half Priced Chocolate Day!

Time to hit those shops, every girls dream in the shops today....cheap chocolate! How was everyone's Valentine's day? Hope it was filled with lots of sweets and chocolate. Pavonis has had its regular 1 1/2 repeats added onto it, Evelyn's sweater has been worked on-a total of 3 increases made on it. Other than that it was a normal college week filled with school work that unfortunately took precedence over my yarn adventures :( Why do I have to be a studious college student? I'd get soooooo much more crafting done!

Episode 11: Rainboots and Random Ramblings

Show Notes:
WIP's-
Socks- thanks to the fire drills I got a few rows done, but don't expect those needles to burst into flames, they are probably just going to poke along.

Butterfly Monstrosity-  aka my cross stitch has been going well, even with my over site.

Pavonis- 1 1/2 repeats done, not that much, but if you factor in the cancellation of a class and my cross stitch being my favorite this week, its understandable.

Plucky- Going well, it has reentered my favor. I am about 2 inches away from being half done with the body, finally.

No finished projects this time guys, sorry. Or future projects for that matter.

Some random ramblings and such. And that is it for this weeks episode from me. So until Monday when Knitalittle casts her pod, Have a great weekend!

Wednesday, February 8, 2012

Episode 10-Exciting week filled with new discoveries!

Hey guys! I have a new hobby, but you have to watch to find out what it is! Lots of progress has been made on the pavonis, despite all the work that had piled up during the week. Be sure to join our ravelry group to share your triumphs or frustrations (or both, I've found that my mood can change so quickly from row to row on this shawl!) Thanks to all our new members for tuning in! We are now on iTunes if you prefer to watch us there or download us and take us with you.

Episode 8: Humidity, the Bane of My Existance

Show Notes:
Works in progress:
Plucky- (see my rav page) 2-3 inches done, it is winning back my affection, very very slowly.
Pavonis- Going along swimmingly, 2 repeats done this week, and am still loving it. I can do that just about anywhere, I don't see where mum's problems are.

Started:
Another cross stitch, see catch up with a camera for a picture.
Yet more plain toe up socks

Finished:
A cross stitch that you will see when it makes its way to the intended person.

Shout outs:
My only shout out is to paletpc@gmail who just started following our group, so welcome and thanks!

There is a thread for you to show off your WIP's as well as a thread for your pavinis pleasure, whether to ask for help, show of triumphs and successes or ask for a tissue, were there for ya, probably because we have been there ourselves.

Have a great weekend everyone and Mum will see you on the flip side. As a side note, where did that phrase come from, is it derived from the days of vinyl when a single had another song on the other side? Or somewhere else? If you know, feel free to enlighten! If not, ignore my random side note.

Episode 7-Very little progress made :(

Hey guys! Welcome to episode 7! Can you believe it's February already??? Not much progress has been made on any of my projects unfortunately. This week I will aim to change that! Join us on our Ravelry group to talk about what you are making, or ask any questions about the pavonis. Shout outs: Thank you so much yarnivore for the shout out, we appreciate your views! Welcome EmilyK3661 and PhotoKitty to our ravelry page, sorry you didn't get a proper shout out in the episode. This is what I get for making show notes 5 minutes right before the podcast. And thank you to KnitReadSleep and Kelly McCullough for joining our blog. Thanks for tuning in!

No finished items guys sorry.

Note to our loyal viewers- I know that this is a rather early time to post my podcast, and just know that this will most likely not be normal. When I have more things going on, posting might get pushed back a bit. So enjoy it while it lasts!

Nothing more to report,so have a great weekend!

Episode 4-Back to the monotony-not!

Show notes: Hey everyone! I've finally settled into a routine, so this week was not crazy at all. Yeah right, only in a dream world! I haven't started any new projects so there aren't any links to provide. As always, you can find us on Ravelry where you can also find the link and helpful advice on the Pavonis, our knitalong shawl that I've finally got the hang of!!!!  Thank you to BusyHappyKnitter for hopping on board our Ravelry group and watching our podcast.
Works in Progress: Yellow crocheted shawl, Red/Maroon frilly scarf, Pavonis, Evelyn's sweater, Amanda's legwarmers, and my socks.
I also apologize for the late upload.  It would have been up sooner, but as I explain in the podcast, our internet has been soooooooooooooooooo slow.  So bear with me until I find a time to upload over the next couple of weeks when it will upload at a reasonable pace.
Happy knitting, thanks for watching!

Monday, January 23, 2012

Ever have one of those days.... yep I'm having one.  You should be seeing a pod cast.  Yes my smiling face but instead these word are filling up the screen.  Yes my camera came, and I raced to install everything.  It worked oh I was home free.   Famous last words.  Set everything up to pod cast and no sound.  So I'm going to be talking to tech support people for most of the day.  Why oh why oh why can I never have a device that I plug in and go, oh wait I did and still no pod cast.  Well I thought I would show you what I've been working on so you do know I'm knitting and finishing and casting on.  If I can get the sound problem solved and do a podcast tomorrow I'll be happy to do such a thing.  Knowing me and my dismal ability to work well with technology don't hold your breath.

Okay I'm having to much fun knitting socks.  The blue pair are really nice and war.  A bit big really don't know what I did but next pair will be better.  Lindsay this is the new wool that I got in the mail.  Yours came two.... now do you want me to send it to you at school?
Okay I got caught.  I knit up things I need and for the most part don't worry about writing down the pattern.  Well a young knitter fell in love with a purple bag much like this one and asked for the pattern.  Hummmm should have taken better notes.  I had to knit up this bag to write down the pattern.  What we don't do the help fellow knitters.
Oh I like this shawl much better since I blocked it.  Liked it so much I cast on another just like it but in a sock weight yarn.  Hope it turns out as nice.
This is the prayer shawl I gave to a friend with breast cancer.  I just wanted her to know we are all thinking about her and supporting her.  Sharon you can beat this thing.
Snuggles boy have I been knitting snuggles and plan on sewing and crocheting some up.  Good thing we have until the end of Feb.  Hey if you haven't knit up a snuggle why not.  They really help and once you start they are hard to stop.

Okay keep your fingers crossed that I can get the sound to work on my camera and I will post soon.  If I can't well Kathryn will be pod casting Wed. and Lindsay Fri.  Ta Ta for now.

Episode 3: Wild and Wacky Week.

Show Notes: My notes will be in a different order than the podcast. Since this format makes a whole lot more sense than when I was recording. Lesson- never record an hour before bed! Since it kinda turned out a bit scatterbrained. Shout outs: 1to1 on ravelry, Carla- Thanks for the mention on knittingpodcasts.blogspot.com! Welcome to the group, its nice to have you here. Kristin/craftyquilter- Thanks for the support, and the views. Great quilter, if you ever need anything done, Kristin's your quilter! Thanks! Works in progress- A very plucky cardigan by Kate Hiester Pavonis by Saermae on Rav. I didn't know if blip would like the Finnish spelling of her name, Sorry Saermae, but love love the design! Few bits of business: Join our Rav group! We have the thread for the knitalong up, and would love you to stop by and say hi and give us your opinions and feedback. See ya there! And that's it, thanks for watching!

Quick Photo Post

Hey guys, ahead of my podcasting tonight for upload for tomorrow, if you can follow that, I am posting some pictures. It is much easier to 'slurp' the photos from a blog url than to upload directly, if that makes sense. For some reason rav doesn't want to talk to my computer, its giving it the silent treatment.

Pavonis progress

Christmas Socks, finished

Alright, when roomie is in class this evening I will be taping, and then post on Friday.

Episode 2: Back to the grind!

Shownotes:
I rambled a bit during the first part of this, sorry about that, i'd like this mostly to be about knitting, so as I progress I am sure that it will be more and more about both knitting and crocheting.  I forgot to mention my crocheted shawl as a WIP, so I will be sure to mention it next week.  Look for Lindsay's update on Friday, and be sure to check out our Ravelry group.  Happy knitting and crocheting!
Oh, I forgot, Mum had trouble with her webcam so she couldn't podcast on Monday.  She has to get a new one before she can podcast again.....but good news, its on its way!

Podcast!!!!- Episode 1

So we have decided to amp up our blog by adding a podcast!!!!  We recorded this podcast, after several attempts, but realized that we didn't quite know how to upload the video.  Sort of jumped the gun there.  Therefore, this video is a little out of date, I flew back on Thursday (not tomorrow like I say) and Lindsay flew back yesterday at school.  We would have recorded a more up to date one, but we felt you guys should see us together as a group before we start doing our individual ones, but with both Lindsay and I at school already, that proves difficult.  So for the next four months you will have our individual podcasts to look forward to! (or not, we're not sure.) Also, sorry for the randomness of this episode-its our very first podcasting experience. It will get better as time goes on.  Oh......and we need to work on our volume, so either use headphones.....or hope that you have really good speakers! Sorry about that, we'll get better!
